Staff-child ratios and maximum group sizes
The following is a list of Ohio Department of Job & Family Services mandated minimum licensing required ratios and group sizes that must be implemented.
| 1:5 or 2:12 | Infants (6 weeks to 17 months) |
| 1:7 | Toddlers (18 months to 30 months) |
| 1:8 | 2-1/2 to 3-year-olds |
| 1:12 | 3-year-olds |
| 1:14 | 4 to 5-year-olds |
True Sisters Child Care Center strives to provide a higher level of quality care and therefore maintains the following ratios:
| 1:5 or 2:10 | Infants |
| 1:7 | Toddlers |
| 1:10 | Preschoolers |
We have two infant groups with up to 10 infants and two adults per group. We have two toddler groups, each can have up to 14 children and two adults. We have two preschool rooms, with 18 to 19 children per room and two adults per room. Ratios are maintained basd on the youngest child in the group.
Each group has a staff member who has a degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development or related fields. The Assistant Director does not have a class of her own. She supervises all programming of the teaching staff and assists when needed. Volunteers are utilized when available.
