Adoption or parenting: Which is the right choice?
You may be considering an adoption plan for your baby, or you may decide to parent your child. We realize you are facing a very difficult — but loving — choice. You have hopes and dreams for your child and deep concerns about what is best for his or her future. To help you make the right decisions for your baby and yourself, we offer guidance, support, and plenty of caring.

Bellefaire JCB has answers.
As one of the nation's largest, longest-established adoption agencies, the Adoption Center at Bellefaire JCB is prepared to advise you in all the options available to you. A personal counselor will help you understand your choices, offer emotional support, develop an individualized adoption plan, and provide you with the opportunity to be as actively involved as you wish in every step of the adoption process.

• Personal Attention. All pregnancy/adoption counseling is free.
• Medical Costs. Your pre-natal, labor, and delivery costs will be paid if insurance coverage is not available to you. Physician referrals are available upon request.
• Select the Adoptive Family. Review profiles of families with actual photos and letters. All of Bellefaire's adopting parents have participated in pre-adoption screening, preparation, and education.
• Meet the Adoptive Family. Ongoing contact can be arranged either directly or through letters.

We offer options.
Bellefaire's adoption professionals have extensive experience and maintain a thorough understanding of adoption practices and issues. We can help you with either of the following:

• Adoption through the Adoption Center at Bellefaire JCB
• Referrals and support if you decide to parent your baby

Adoptions may be fully open, in which you and the adoptive parents and child maintain direct contact, or they may have openness through the agency.

You have choices.
Your ability to make the best decision depends on understanding all of your options, every step of the way. If you do not choose adoption, Bellefaire's professional staff will support your choice and help you make alternative arrangements. We are here for you.
