WRAParound Services
Intensive in-home services are provided for children, youth, and families. Clients are typically in the program for six to 12 months, receiving two to four hours of service per week. They then are transitioned to less-intensive outpatient care in the community in which they live.
The program builds on strengths to help families creatively solve their problems and uses a multi-systems approach, including interventions for family preservation, cognitive behavioral therapy, and wraparound services, in order to impact all areas of the client's life. While working on family issues, the WRAP counselor coordinates services with the courts, schools, peers, therapists, and other interested parties to maintain youth in their homes. The goal is to empower the family to help the youth operate functionally and safely within the community. The program includes in-home assessment of youth and family needs, individual and family therapy, identification and securing of individualized supports and professional services, ongoing consultation and monitoring of progress, and aftercare planning.
JOP WRAParound SERVICES
Similar to WRAP except this service is more intensive, involving six to 10 hours per week and is reserved for those clients in the judicial system who have gone through a JOP comprehensive evaluation and received a recommendation for this service. SEE JOP SECTION
Ongoing Case Management Services
Provides ongoing case management for children, youth, and families who are transitioning from more intensive levels of service or who need assistance managing the mental health issues of the child within the community. These children and or families may receive counseling and other services through Bellefaire JCB or another agency. At the same time, parents need assistance in managing and securing services for their child.
