Juvenile Offender Program (JOP)
JOP serves two categories of youth

JOP Assessment (paid by grant) - youth between the ages of 12 and 17 who have been adjudicated delinquent with a charge involving a violent act. These youth are viewed by court staff as progressing toward ODYS commitment, generally through failure in less-restrictive programs. Clients are suspected of having a mental health diagnosis evidenced by behavioral, cognitive, and/or affective impairments. Referrals come directly from the court. Comprehensive evaluations are provided for youth involved with the juvenile court system to determine the presence of possible contributing mental health disorders and treatment recommendations.

JOP-like Assessment (paid by 4-C) - similar-aged youth who have been presented to the 4-C committee and have had multiple placements, and an ongoing history of mental health services, and are suspected of having a major mental health diagnosis but lack the clinical testing and documentation that would assist in determining the appropriate level of care. 4-C referrals will be initiated by the Director of Intersystem Programming.

The components of JOP are as follows:

    * Psychological Assessment
    * 4-C Review
    * JOP Bed
    * JOP Wraparound/Community
    * Support Programming
