The following is a list of mandated minimum ratios and group sizes that are required by law and must be implemented.
 
                1:7        Toddlers ( 18 months-30 months )
                1:8        2-½-3 year olds        
                1:12      3 year olds
                1:14      4-5 year olds
                
True Sisters Child Care Center strives to provide a higher level of quality care and therefore maintains the following  ratios:

                1:6        Toddlers
                1:10      Pre-schoolers  (maximum)

We have 3 toddler groups, each can have up to 12 children and 2 adults.  We have 3 preschool rooms, with 14-18 children per each room and 2 adults.

 

Each group has a teacher who has a degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development or related fields.  The Assistant Director does not have a class of her own.  She supervises all programming of the teaching staff and assists when needed.  Volunteers are utilized when available.
