Bellefaire JCB mental health professionals provide behavioral health services to children and adolescents in selected Jewish Day Schools. Clients attending these schools can be referred for individual and/or group therapy. Services are provided in the client's home school during school hours. This makes services easily accessible by the student and allows us to observe and address behavioral issues in the setting where the problems commonly occur.
Our ability to consult with teachers and other school professionals ensures that services are targeted directly at the issues that most clearly impact the client's ability to learn and thrive in the academic setting. Referrals are generally initiated by a professional staff person. A parent can also request a referral by speaking with the school principal.
