School for Children with Autism! Position available in special education private school for children on the autism spectrum/ experience in sensory-motor rehabilitation preferred. Provide direct therapy to autistic children on a one-to-one and small group basis.

Additional responsibilites include administering diagnostic assessments (formal and informal evaluations) to autistic children. Develop sensory-motor diets to be utilized throughout the student’s day. Coordinate home-school Occupational Therapy programs. Provide consultation and training to team regarding Occupational Therapy needs of autistic children. Provide in-class observation and consultation of
Monarch
School students. Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.
Bachelor’s degree, state license and certification required. |
