Construction of the new, state-of-the-art home for Monarch School completed.
Bellefaire signs a licensing agreement with Children’s Hospital Boston to develop
Visual Language Learning Solution (VLLS) technology.
Focus groups composed of teachers, therapists, administrators and parents convened to
determine needs and solicit input.
A highly talented and experienced team of researchers, clinicians, teachers, technology
and design experts assembled to develop the VLLS.

| Spring 2007: |
VLLS will be alpha-tested at Monarch School where it will be rigorously and continuously evaluated and refined. Evaluation criteria will include, but not be limited to:
- Visual appeal and simplicity
- Teaching effectiveness
- Ease of navigation
- Level of student engagement

| Fall 2007: |
VLLS will be beta-tested in several Cleveland-area public schools. Seven local school districts have already expressed interest in helping to shape VLLS features and functionality. |

VLLS will catalog and standardize the Monarch Model and its associated visual resources to facilitate its potential for broad dissemination. |
