The author was inspired by her own experience of adopting her daughter from China.  It is a heartwarming story of hope, sacrifice and lives woven together with a single red thread.

With over 143 million children worldwide orphaned or in need of adequate parental care, the author has started a foundation named after the book which is committed to making a difference in the life of these children.  It is their hope to become a voice for these chidlren by raising adoption awareness, encouraging adoption by assisting parents with resources, and simply letting others like YOU know how you can make a difference.  Books will be available for purchase - proceeds go to benefit orphans worldwide.
